I only had like 8 N64 games total, so I'd literally spend like 2-3 months playing a single game. When the game was relatively expensive to how much you could make as a child, the value and mental dedication was vastly larger compared to having a steam library filled with 100+ hour games for $20 or infinite games to pirate.
