>>55745471Continuing on from the last conversation, I always took LR as a kinda meta commentary on how terrifying and persisted player characters are. LR makes the point that you're allowed to leave at anytime, and by all accounts there's no real reason for the courier to go down the lonesome road besides pure curiosity. That curiosity leads to a nuke being launched, creating the courier's mile. I think ingame Ulysses' hatred of the courier for delivering that package that caused the LR's destruction doesn't make too much sense, but in a more meta way it shows that destruction follows the courier wherever he goes.
