>>55250603My method was
>find out any and all names a general went by on their subject line>search the archives for all threads that began with those subjects>click into a thread, read the summary section with the post count in each thread>go into my spreadsheet and write out the OP's post #, the # of posts I found in that thread, and then add the # of posts to a running total/#/'s posts were counted from every thread that fit the Subject line and was manually verified to belong to that general
I made the chart for how many posts /#/ had back when /vt/ had 10,050,000 posts total, or around Late September 2021, and I had found it to be 73,987 posts in threads that fit the general and the subject line at the time of my recording of it. For context, I searched
>/#/ - Numbersas the subject line, which returned anything that had "Numbers" in the subject.
Is there anything significantly wrong in that methodology that would lead to me getting something wrong in my count at the time?
