Prelude to Vei's Birthday Edition

All in all today was a pretty cool day. Mel hung out with Takahata in his bar for the first time and it was a significantly better time than when Mouse visited. Granted, Mouse obviously was running on fumes when she came to visit but it was still really fun to see Mel get indoctrinated into the world of The Weary 101 and hang out with Taka, Mims, and even get introduced to some of the others via chat visitors. Definitely a VOD worth checking out when you get the time, and if you missed it live that's completely understandable because Mouse was streaming at the exact same time. She teamed up with the monkey to try and solve puzzles so difficult that it was a miracle they managed to progress as far as they did. But that's how things go in Escape Simulator! She wanted to keep streaming afterwards, but another bout of late plasma kept her from going as long as she'd have liked, and it may unfortunately delay Sunday's planned Speak of the Devil with Risu even further.
But that was all yesterday. So what about today? Well, it's Vei's birthday! Only problem is no one's sure what is even going to be happening, and Vei herself said she was considering not streaming at all during it. We can only hope that's not the case as birthday streams have always been a highlight of the group and there hasn't been one since the end of October with Froot. Regardless of what happens, there's at least sure to be lots of nice birthday art coming about, like this image that was commissioned by Silver.
So we'll find out in the morning whether or not Vei has anything planned for her big day. Until then, keep things comfy and civil by ignoring bait, and being excellent to each other. Either way, don't forget to look forward to the big announcement tomorrow!
