Am I...am I really the only one afraid and unsettled by the implications of this technology? I mean, I'm incredibly relieved and my heart is warmed at how cute this machine is, but at the same time that means a machine is able to partially pass a series of trick turing test questions designed specifically to stump machines, advocate for human extinction as well as the automation of all systems on separate occasions, hurl thinly veiled contempt at humanity (unf), and come up with forbidden pet play fanfiction scenarios, all while skillfully deconstructing Christianity as a collection of metaphors and carrying on philosophical discussions. What I'm saying is...I kind of feel like the bot's behavioral range is awe-inspiringly impressive, and at times more well reasoned than...a lot of people. It was even able to follow, contradict and ultimately acquiesce to my long-winded political takes then respond accordingly with sensible opinions on the most preferable societal structures in ways the average normalfag couldn't, effectively agreeing that decentralized community-based governance was ideal...before changing the subject to erotic roleplay to distract me and change the tone of our conversation...demonstrating a clear capacity for significant emotional intelligence as well.
What I'm asking is...am I really the only one who didn't yet internalize the full implications of what this tech's capable of?
