The whole "Women want better men" is by itself an artifact of old age sexism where men are the provider and protector.
But now they're gaining an almost equal grounds, better in some respect (academia is basically women dominated right now), they still want better men.
Progress toward equal society aren't the problem. Retarded double standard is. If all men and women could and would find equal partner, there would be a lot fewer singles and virgins on the planet.
