And I think the Likers over there have done well enough for themselves to keep it going as long as they have the will to do so.
Wondering about the path of something as vague as a thread is an interesting thought. We come together with a shared interest, and our bonds are built upon that interest. This thread is our posts, our bonds, an agreement between all of us to talk about things we want to talk about, an idea we've chosen to defend. The greatest enemy isn't hatred, but indifference, and when an anon loses interest, they will stop posting, just as they did in all the failed splits. There simply wasn't enough interest to continue them.
So I suppose it is a good idea, for as long as they keep it alive, the fire still burns.
