While it is much cheaper, it has been poisoned to avoid alcohol taxes and is used primarily in industrial and cleaning applications (it will kill you if you drink it). One 55 gallon drum of food grade 100% ABV ethanol will provide approximately 11733 standard drinks (0.6oz of alcohol). If you drink 5 standard drinks every day from the time you receive your 55 gallon drum of food grade 100% ABV ethanol, you will not exhaust your supply for nearly 6.5 years. However, at a more reasonable rate of consumption of 5 drinks per week, it will last for approximately 45 years. This is, perhaps, the wisest investment a regular consumer of alcohol can make.I've been suggesting this for every chuuba's throne list I come across and I have yet to get one to see it on stream.
