>>68360321>I think the reason there's no statement from anyone in EN is because they are being told not to comment on it. It's why all tweets are vague. They're being told not to talk about it by the same people I suspect are the actual bullies, management. So it does make them somewhat complicit for basically caring more about a worthless NDA than what is morally correct. And to be clear, I do not think any livers were bullying Selen. But the fact they're all just brushing under the rug is just enabling more abuse from within the company. They're all so terrified of being next on the chopping block that they're willing to sacrifice any of their fellow co-workers to keep their job. It's very selfish behavior, albeit understandable I guess.
>What I'm saying is that it would be very ironic for her to enable harassment and bullying from people defending her honor.I don't think it's ironic at all, why would you have a moral obligation to protect the people who did nothing to help you in your time of need? I'm not painting the other livers as malicious here, simply that their complacency has resulted in a rot within the branch that is slowly sinking the ship. They should've spoken up years ago and forced some kind of ultimatum instead of letting it get this bad. I get it, they all had hopes that things would get better if they just weather the storm, but now we've lost both Pomu and Selen. At what point is it time to cut their losses let the truth come out?
And let's be clear here, in a normal corporate workplace this kind of rot is absolutely expected. No one is gonna speak up about their local McDonalds being mismanaged. However they literally spent years trying to cultivate this atmosphere that NijiEN is a "family" and that they all care about eachother. Yet where is that love and support when it actually matters? It makes the situation seem so fucking bleak. Even if the branch survives this, that family aura is forever dead and buried.
