>>52375658>So would a Sapling leave a weakened animal to perish if their goal was to obtain leather, even if treatment was available? It would be unrealistic to say that all saplings act the same. Though there is a culture with general guidelines, each sapling lives their own life according to their own choices. That being said, generally saplings would try to help if they, for example, saw that a tree had fallen on a deer's leg and left it pinned. They wouldn't get in the way of animals hunting or hurting each other. They also wouldn't purposefully attempt to get animal products through willful negligence, but they also wouldn't adopt an old senile beaver to try to get it to live an extra year.
>Would herds of animals infected with parasites/disease be left alone or treated?Assuming it was a small localized kind of disease, they would just let nature run its course. If it was something much more wide spread that had the potential to threaten the forest as a whole, it would be stopped.
>Golden applesThose only grow in Fauna's Cradle. If by some miracle you somehow made it in there, eating an apple that could possibly gives you eternal life would be the last thing on your mind.
