Hello, yes, liaschizo here. Some additional clarification on last nights schizo post. I feel as though the amateur/professional divide mantled by Lia’s efforts is an important distinction of her character. In the broader consideration of her overall “””idol””” arc you see the true definition of Hag begin to take better clarity. “Hag” often times discounted as a mere consideration of “age” (itself a spook if there ever was one in the chuuba sphere) is much more accurately considered as the “worn in” quality of a performers her various disciplines. The thrill of pursuing the internet anime girl is in the total realization of the parasocial relationship. Much in the same sense as the romantic entanglements they’re modeled after the most important aspect of the chuuba / viewer relationship is in the achievement of mutually supported goals. Perhaps even more so important is the gradual realization of the skills and abilities that enable the capture of those goals. This is the raw proof of growth, which in the so far removed parasocial aspect of the relationship reads as “intimacy”, being the sincere manifestation of the desire to reciprocate the support being offered by the viewer to the performer. Probably within Phase this “intimacy” is most clearly demonstrated by the Pippa “Secret Karaoke” singing skill arc. It still remains probably her most tender interaction with her fan base warranting particularly soft exchanges at the conclusion of her performances. Lia has a more subtle realization of this dynamic just in the general acceptance of her fans support. Lia’s midstream breakdown during her Stray performance over the support she was receiving may have perhaps been the high water mark for her own “tenderness” with the murky depths of the “End of Lia Donothon” shortly thereafter representing its lowest low. The forging of this type of character is most satisfying with the resulting hardened “professionalism” that followed in Lia’s overall effort. Being present for the genesis moments of her current state is a crucial mindset to retain when attempting to engage with her content and the additional pleasure of seeing the shades of both positions being carefully modulated as she moves forward. Lia is perhaps best at her “back of house” elements, teasing out the timing of various engagements, measuring the ways in which she can withdrawal at the right moment to stimulate longing, and her concentrated assaults of burn out inducing high quality productions. The way that Lia has portioned her gradual ascent to the position she has obtained shows a dedication to a longer term development cycle which shows a careful consideration for forgoing “Hag” status. None of Lia’s content seems worn in with the vitality of her efforts being the most desirable quality of the slow burn development of her skills. There is always an appreciable angle to providing maxed out professional skills the way that certain elements of Phase are able to do but for the purest sense of grasping something vital and living it has to be in reaching towards Lia. Please continue to show us your struggles Lia! It’s such a rare beauty to be exposed to a TRUE teen idol sensation as found in Lia! I want to see her honed into a killing blade! I like Lia!
