Not only that, you can go into more detail, post images easier, think longer, etc. Game discussion, when done in the aggie (and it is somewhat common), is harder, less productive, quickly forgotten. Unless it's started here first, in the case of the post I referenced.
Another issue, all the people who don't visit the aggie will miss out on discussions of any kind. The majority of the active-in-the-thread players visit the aggie, yes. But for those who do not, they are barred (and yes, not forcibly before you use that argument) from discussions which they may have taken part in. Far more people browse the thread than the aggie, and far more people are likely to join the game if they see the thread alive, well, and thinking
