Hello there.
Work has started on the CAWs that will need to be made for Lord of the Board. A few of the early entrants were completed before submissions closed, so we have 38 left. I'm still working on autistic breakdowns of the submissions, so if you're curious about stuff like "how many blue women are there", it'll have to wait.
>When will you be getting in touch with managers?
Over the next few weeks, we'll be making CAWs. If there's a hiccup with the process, we'll contact the manager at the contact info listed on the form. If there was no contact info listed, or if the contact info is non-responsive, we'll ask here in /hfz/ about it. We WILL NOT at any point ask in the rep's thread about the rep. We're running an event here, not a board takeover.
>What happens if you don't get any response at all?
We will make a judgement call for ourselves on the best course of action. Your entrant is secured: we're not gonna throw you out, but your wrestler might be less kino than you originally envisioned it.
I'll answer some other questions now as well.
>What's the ETA on the event?
Current estimates put us at Late May/Early June, but we're still early in the CAW process, which is the most time-consuming part. As previously promised, you will have no less than 2 weeks from the date we confirm the event to when it will be held.
>What format will the tournament be presented in?
The event card is 44 planned matches, including 11 Exhibition matches, over the course of 4 days spread over 2 weeks. The full details of the event card will be revealed at a later date, but the tournament's structure is already locked in. Additional matches may occur as time permits on streaming days.
At this time, the intent is to stream in a similar format to /vt/ League: Youtube stream presented through a Cytube. Future details will be presented on that as they become available.
>Will there be commentary?
The event will be presented with minor audio commentary by the streamer, who will explain the match types and narratives between each match. Commentary during matches is still unclear at this time.
>What about tag matches? Will the managers be re-polled for prospective tag teams?
We don't know how many tag matches will be on the card. It's possible that the existing teams will be good. We'll get back ot you on that.
>Will there be gambling?
Of course. In the usual place, even.
>Did you really type a wall of text saying "We aren't done planning and don't have answers for half of your questions"?
Yes.
I will now take any other questions you might have on the Lord of the Board.
