>>52571533more anki/jpdb, more immersion, if you use Anki use FSRS and drop your retention target and study more new words, if you're on jpdb make the interval length longer, this way you can do more new words per day without spending significantly more time on SRS. You can use OpenAI's Whisper to make sorta okayish subtitles for polka streams, which you can then use to mine from and also just enjoy your time with her streams better obviously, but most importantly if you consistently mine words from her streams you'll be getting closer to understanding her faster than anything else you'd do. Once you're feeling pretty confident in the vocab you have regarding Polka(or anything else you'd want to watch/listen to raw) you're just gonna have to bite the bullet and spend dozens to hundreds of hours without subtitles, ideally with Polka as it's far easier to learn to understand one person than it is to keep switching around until you're able to hear most people easily. After you can do that you just need to decide how far you want to take it, if you want to be able to perfectly understand Polka you've still got a lot of mining to do, preferably from her, but if you're fine with your level you can chill out and watch her streams and you'll pick some stuff up naturally here and there. Good luck and チェンソーマンをよめ!
