The goal isn't be "be as big as or better than Holo girls". It never was. Only idiots think this. It's to be "as big as or better than other competition in THAT market".
Obviously the Male and Female markets are different. You're fucking dumb if you think otherwise.
The goal is to be others in the Male market, and as much as people want to cry about it, they've done it. Sure as hell are bigger than the Niji males (and even most of the Niji girls) or First Stage or anyone else. As for indies I don't know but the few Male Indies I do know are bigger than Holo girls and I'm sure no one wants to talk about that.
The only Males Vtubers they haven't "beaten" I'd say are the super huge NijiJP males.
