>>70222015Not to the extent of FFVIII. You can do a low level run in which none of the enemies level up so their stats stay low while you can just junction spells to your stats. Then you can learn card from Quetzalcoatl so you can turn enemies into cards before they die so you don't gain experience but gain AP so you can learn guardian force skills while never letting enemies level up. Then you have the card game, items, and a way to combine spells to gain higher tier spells later on so you can further up your stats. Not only that, but since enemies do less damage and if you pump your HP up high enough you can almost do perpetual limit breaks due to FFVIII's limit break mechanics. You need to be in critical HP to perform them, but if your critical HP is around 1,500 when bosses do 300 damage it isn't a problem. Not only that but you can mash the pass turn button if you're in limit break range until the game randomly allows you to select the limit break option since it seems like a percentage base trigger based on how critical your HP status is at. Further more, Rinoa gets Invincible Moon and if you don't let her learn anything else she cycles through two or three actions for her limit break and one of them being that skill that gives your whole party three turn invincibility.
