>>56971675i had a big issue with comparing my standards to everyone else's too; it's not as bad as it was before but I still struggle with it every now and then. just remember that “comparison is the thief of joy." maybe you can't do certain things or don't know things that anons here can do or know, but the reverse is true too. i'm sure that there's things that only you know or can do that i can't. as long as you're improving even just a little, then you've changed from the person you were yesterday. in my books, that's some damn fine progress that I and shiorin would be proud of anon. sure, admittedly it's easier said than done to stop comparing yourself to others, but you got our (read: my) cute goth wife cheering you on (note: she's here mostly for me) and us novelites running alongside you also trying to improve ourselves in this shared psychotic journey to be the kinda fans she can be proud of, even if we are demented and not entirely right in the head
