>>56973042i'm sure you've got hidden talents, anon. one thing i always like to remind writers is that we're talking animals, so in a certain sense verbal proficiency is native to us. not quite true, but it's true enough.
you know, like, sharpshooting or something isn't 'wired in' the same way.
as someone who posts on forums, i honestly guarantee you that puts you in the top twenty percent of people who ever try to write, and i'm not exaggerating. that's not even being mean to those people. it's just the truth.
typical to a forumposter who wants to write, their main issues usually involve writing that's a bit over abstract, overuse of nominalizations mostly. the kind of writing that got As in school. this makes their writing less vigorous, simply because no one ever told them otherwise. i mean, i know nothing of your writing of course. i guess i'm just rambling.
you've got it in you to be a great writer, and you're closer to it than you think. i mean, whatever you want to do with that is up to you. i'm not even sure how interested you are in it. but i'm not gassing you up or anything. i'm just going by the numbers the voices in my head tell me.
t. the guy who's been writing the autistic now past 20k word fanfiction, if that means anything. it's a really good fanfic tho
