Death Note and
Mirai Nikki) but I thought it was really excellent and it basically defined my personality for nearly a decade. I know some people have a few issues with it and if you're deathly allergic to /u/ you probably shouldn't watch it or you'll have a stroke, but otherwise I would say it's a must-watch for anyone interested in anime especially since it shaped the industry in many ways after it originally aired and is basically singlehandedly responsible for the rise of the 'dark/edgy magical girl' genre even though there are older examples.
