>>67177587In Metroid Dread there's a sequence break you can do early on in Cataris to save a bunch of time. In one of the EMMI areas, after swapping the thermal line over to another channel, you can open a door that leads to a mechanism that will move after you drain the lava later on. If you hop on the spider rail and line yourself up correctly, you can actually walljump up the righthand side and clear the mechanism early. This is not easy, as it requires a near frame perfect jump, but if you buffer melee attacks you can manipulate air momentum to help carry you upwards. The cool thing about this sequence break is it skips an ADAM room, which actually breaks all future dialog from him for the rest of the game. That way on future playthroughs you don't have to mash through a giant wall of text every time you encounter him.
