I'm not fond to play Co-op with randoms and not all my friends are interested on the game, also going solo was boring to me and these games require too much time to enjoy. I'm more of the competitive type since the flow of those games are faster and I don't need to drag someone to enjoy it. Also I don't like to jump on the bandwagon because that never worked for me (and ended with wasting money)
