>>59506500Can confirm, I was in book club my first year and it was all girls. But the ones in charge will choose shitty preachy books for you to read so don't expect it to be fun like our book clubs. I went out with some of the cuter preppy ones after club as a group and we spent our time discussing film in a cafe, it was pretty fun.
It didn't really matter though because I met my then gf by sitting next to her in a random Psych class after noticing she was drawing anime boys in her notebook. In the end, it's all just random chance where you'll end up meeting someone you like, joining a club just makes your prospective net bigger.
