>>1475207Not all music is meant to be pleasurable. Many works aim to recreate the more uncomfortable aspects of our human experience. This is a lot more common on the artsy/classical side of music. A famous example is "Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima". It's a very uncomfortable listen, but only such terrible sounds could properly illustrate the horrors of the atomic bombs in those lucky enough not to experience it. Similarly, Everywhere gives us an insight into a horrible experience that neither you and I can even fathom, lest we go through the suffering of dementia ourselves. Take that dread and reflect upon it, only then you may understand the true value of your memories. Only disturbing art can guide us into these such understandings of our condition.
