>>40148086I think it does play a part at least with some anons, it's more interesting to have an idea of what a person is than to actually consider the reality of a poster which is what drives 99% of OG's interactions with anons.
>>40148132>>40148221>>40148323Yes, in any other place on this site that would have been universally taken as a falseflag fucking up. There's extremely little else that someone can actually do to reveal themselves as a falseflagger as much as something like that, you can't prove something like falseflagging easily on a site built around anonymity and the idea that it would be possible to differentiate between anons from their posting styles is delusional. The defensiveness you display is so odd when /vt/ specifically has one of the worst cases of falseflagging on this site, look at the threads that were just Kiara schizos replying to themselves. Even the Mods do it. What evidence do you have that suggest that this place would be in any way shape or form immune to that? The ease of which it takes to simply reply to somebody on another browser or on your tablet or phone from a new IP in order to masquerade as someone else is negligible, there'd be little to no way to say that an anon is falseflagging or not and usually that doesn't matter in a thread. This thread though is different, this thread doesn't consider anonymous individuals, it considers them as blunt individuals with a fandom association. Even that smallest bit of differentiation is enough to allow a falseflagger to take on a new identity with little to no effort aside from maybe swapping devices if they feel lazy and having enough interest to pursue the thread in the first place. What would your idea of a falseflagger be exactly?
I'm curious as to how you imagine these individuals and what their motives might be? Usually, it's attention or in order to convince people of something that isn't true for reactions and how would you take the way that certain anon's decide to differentiate their typing styles from what you normally see in a given thread here? What would it actually take for you to consider someone to be a falseflag?
