The subreddit is run by a Cover moderation team (led by T-chan), but I don't think they're the same team that handles global engagement metrics.
Main HQ will be getting reddit numbers about the engagement of Holostars related posts, and these type of Discord raids - which are sanctioned by a Cover employee btw, since T-chan is also a moderator in the official fan discord - would basically be giving them fake data, which could be very damaging for their policy making decisions if they were using this fake data as a factor in adjusting them e.g. Thinking there's more potential for Holostars generations in EN.
There's actual Hololive talents that still post there who are getting less upvotes than Holostars related posts due to the Discord inflation.
I have a feeling that Cover JP higher ups would not be pleased about this type of number fudging happening on the EN side, especially when it's being done under the eye of a Cover employee herself...
