The reason the major breaking point hasn't happened yet is because too many people are still holding out hope that things will get better with Gura. They're still giving her the benefit of the doubt. They don't realize that she'll never get it together. Things will never be the same ever again.
It's not obvious to them yet because they are only watching her on the surface level. As long as she shows up and is cute, that's all that matters to them. But they are completely missing what's going on because they are too distracted by Gura to even think clearly about the fucking reality of it all. They are completely ignorant of or just in flat-out denial of those LONG periods of complete inactivity with absolutely zero communication.
Those optimists are still under the false belief that those long periods where she completely dropped off the face of the earth are "anomalies," that those were just some rough patches that she has worked through. They genuinely believe things will return to some sense of "normality," not even realizing how much time has passed with her in this current state that she's in where she just disappears and says nothing.
It's been over, most people don't even realize it yet.
