It's can be disheartening when it feels like 1/4 things I'll suggest to help balance things or fix things usually gets met with complaints but no alternative suggestion was given. For example the rushia and civia adjustment, where all I was met with was "I will abayo" rather than having a discussion like I asked, until a month later someone gave me one point to consider and I happily went along with it. So I will thank you guys for having one after the initial bit.
In this case I am happy as well to consider literally any other suggestion including 'don't do it', just because I suggest something doesn't mean it actually has to happen.
Would people prefer that when an auction expires they eat a 5% listing tax and the item is returned to them? Originally this was the idea I had but I felt that was going to equally crush people who didn't know better without some limit. Last time this situation happened the dude couldn't exactly keep up with the fees and left from my understanding, I'd rather avoid this in the future and in the present somehow, even if it is entirely self inflicted, but ONLY if people want it.
>>42847821For the last point about the rare items, I reckoned this was the use case for the "limit a starting price to a % of their liquid" cause this doesn't directly cost anything, and means that noobs won't accidentally screw themselves over, while allowing large players to still do fun large numbers, plus usually anything rare would be bet all the way up
