The idol thing doesn't come into play till its event time. Hell go look at the reaction to Kiara's dance moves during Holofes, everyone was blown away cause that's what actual chreography looks like. That said given her statements on stamina, its probably a good middle ground for her.
Genuine idol dancing takes a ton of stamina.
