Just spitballing here, but I wonder how /morig/ would view the sovereignty of /meat/ as a whole, considering their propensity for getting pruned and /morig/ generally having a reputation for being in the jannies' graces. I'm not thinking an outright denial of personhood, but maybe just general skepticism over their functionality as a nation, especially if they have a reputation for piracy/other barbarian behavior. This attitude would be much more commonplace among those who never/rarely leave the island (ie, the religious class, basic citizenry, and some warriors), while the more worldly likes of the independent merchants, navy, and ronins would have more respect for them.
