Also, the child is not a dragon, it is a HUMAN child with draconic blood. This is why Zephia doesn't just bag some random so she can have a dragon child: only dragons breeding with dragons produce dragon offspring. So Veyle and Alear would never have a human child.

I'm not saying the Veyle ending isn't incest, but that kid is NOT biologically related to Alear or Veyle, it's an orphan who had an ancestor from like, 2000 years ago who screwed a dragon, like plenty of other FE characters who have divine blood. There is zero indication anywhere in ANY FE game that female dragons can get eachother pregnant. And even if they could (BIG if) that is not how this orphan is explained in the ending.
