Someone had become so heavily reliant on their inhaler and used it too much that they suffered serious side effects and became a medical emergency. By the time the paramedics got to him, it was too late: I think they said the person's heart had exploded.
I didn't finish reading the article because it scared me too badly as I was already suffering alarming side effects and trying to figure out what to do in such a situation instead of immediately calling 9-1-1. It was years ago, but I'm still too scared to find the story and fully read it with a clear head.
