One of my family's friends, my mother's best friend, is terminally ill and the last few years have been one catastrophe for her after another. To where she was asking "Does God hate me?" and "Did I do something really bad and don't remember?" Last time I saw her she was talking about hoping for something good to come from it.
Death's a part of life so it's natural to hope that something comes after that and there's some kind of reuniting with loved ones or others you've always wanted to meet. Now seeing an avatar representing that fate and she's so kind, it's comforting.
