She will occasionally let a watashi for herself slip when speaking, but it's fairly rare and I don't think I've ever seen her use it in writing before. She did it twice in this short segment, so I am pretty sure this is deliberate. Am I wrong to assume this is meant to imply that this is an "out of character" message of gratitude to the Sukonbu? From the human behind the avatar, not the fox? Or am I reading into it too much?
