>>56511231>>56511375 as far as aesthetics, girls' tastes varies from about brad pitt in snatch to jacob from twilight, with a little bit of deviation for girls who unironically like dad bod usually because of... abuse from muscular men in their lives honestly.
as far as health, doing at least some lifting in your life is honestly important. i always say lifting is very frontloaded in its benefits in that getting through your novice gains will literally get you fifty percent to a hundred percent stronger in a matter of months. being twice as strong as before is a big deal. life involves moving heavy objects sometimes.
after novice gains, you still benefit a lot, but it's really up to you to pursue. after that, yes, a lot of it is just vanity, but that's fine. so is every other hobby in the world.
as far as only gay men like muscles... honestly, as crazy as it sounds, women genuinely care more about strength than muscle. women do like muscle, actually, sometimes even when they don't realize it. some women retardedly think muscular is a personality. so the first time they meet someone who is muscular and not a dudebro, they realize they like muscle. but muscle is not as incredibly erotic for a girl the way a girl with slim waist, big tits, and a fat ass can literally make you turn your head and you have to force your eyes on the road.
but, yeah, women care more about strength. when you lift a girl up for the first time it activates something in their brains. that's just how it is. i'm not gonna call anyone a twink for not wanting to work out. i dunno. that just goes against the gym spirit for me. but i do just think it's a good thing to be strong. fitness is a worthy endeavor that doesn't need to be pursued by everyone, but should certainly get its proper respect
