2 Weeks Ago Edition
Welcome to /vsj+/! A thread to discuss VShojo, and any vtubers frequently associated with them.
Normally Sundays mean a time to recommend some streams from the past week to check out but one wasn't posted last week. For a lot of reasons but the biggest one probably being that it was the most dead week we've had ever. Vei, Nyan, Froot, Hime, and Mel were all on break or sick and couldn't stream most of the week, leaving the entire company to be carried on the backs of Zen and Silver. Doesn't mean there weren't fun streams in that time though, and with +'s in the OP it'll also be fun to see some of those included. So if you're looking for something to watch but don't care about stuff this week here's some recommends from 2 weeks ago!
Mouse - A week is 7 days and though Mouse did stream more than once in that time the other VODs were removed upon deletion. However the 22nd had a stream that provided shippers with all they would need for years to come as Mouse and the monkey did an IRL stream and opted to visit less touristy places. Which included... a huge flower garden. Just that thing friends do. Regardless of whether you're into it from that angle or not IRL streams are fun regardless and worth checking out!
Silver - A V Rising collab with Fream, Tectone, and her brother was a good time on the 24th, but the latest FF14 fashion show on the 25th is probably the most interesting stream she had that week. They're always inherently interesting just by design, but this week had a special guest judge in the form of Finana from NijiEN, who was joined by JoCat to judge various in-game cosplays and the like. If you like FF14 or just the sound of that group it's certainly fun.
Aethel - A 78 minute stream on the 25th doesn't seem like it's worth discussing, but Aethel did an ad for an energy powder mix on that day, and essentially turned it into an hour and some change comedy skit where he was thrown into prison. One could argue the effectiveness of this method for selling the powder, but what matters is that it was entertaining and worth a watch with its short runtime actually being a benefit.
Zen - The unparalleled queen of streams from that week. It also helped that it was one full of collabs, but the best by and far was the Christmas Cake
Paint Drying stream on the 27th. Upon the realization that Haruka, normally the oldest in any groups was actually the youngest at 27, the group of Zen, Geega, and Giri talked about how fucking old they all were, among many other things. Though it eventually turned into Mario Party, the first couple of hours are an extended Just Chatting with the 4 that is absolutely worth checking out.
Anny + Haruka - A pairing that first met up during last year's Minecraft arc and instantly clicked despite seeming on paper like they would be oil and water. They've only done a handful of collabs together but they've all highlighted how well they get on with one another, and on the 22nd they colllaborated to defuse bombs! Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is always a fun game for collabs, and since they both streamed it you can even pick a POV to watch from as both VODs are still up!
There weren't many other streams from that week. Vei did a react and HUGE MAN jumpscare stream, and... that was about it other than what was just listed. It was a dead week, but this last one that just passed has been MUCH better. So for now make sure to keep things comfy and civil by ignoring and especially reporting bait, and being excellent to each other.
