>>3936018it depends on the streamer, usually japanese people don't do it as often as EOPs do due to them having the full video as content already whereas EOPs feel [left out | entitled] (select whichever one you feel fits) of the content and are starved for attention like this stream is the only goddamn thing happening on the platform right now.
Things japanese people do however do, and increasingly so:
- It was my birthday could you congratulate me (ending up in bizarre situations like Watame pre-empting this by making it a daily ritual)
- could you say this toungue twister (both JP and EN do that sometimes)
- can you please verbally abuse me/us (this one is mostly JP)
- can you do this and that situation voice (this one is exclusive to streamers who often do streams like that or member streams, I had miko in mind writing this. it's usually confessions, being tsundere, or in the best case system voices like "you got mail")
Most other japanese superchats consist of
- paying for whatever the VTuber is drinking
- paying for something that broke recently
- buying imaginary products
- being sorry for being unable to watch live and vowing to watch the archive
- 草 (10k yen)
- whatever else they want to tell the chuuba
your experience may vary, you posted Fubuki she often gets money for Tea for instance. Coco makes hundrets by going to the toilet in blue superchats. others use stickers or emoji creatively.
