Ame was obviously calling from a bathroom. If she had the room to herself, there would be no reason to do that, so she isn't traveling alone. She's traveled with family before, but it would be quite strange to go directly from Japan to meet up with them.
The only reasonable explanation is that she is with Gura, they are sharing a room and maybe a bed, and she went to the bathroom to not wake Gura up since she has actual business stuff to do later.
