I've been trying to wrap my head around Nina's hatred for peas and simultaneous love of pea soup. She says it's about the taste, but can't really elaborate, and clearly texture is out because she never mentions it. So then, how does pea soup alter/complement the flavor of the pea in a way that makes it delicious to her?
My best theory is the sweetness being reduced, but you would think that would be easy for her to list.
