Everyone knows the story about how lobster used to be treated (in fairness, they ate it raw and it took litrally centuries for people to figure out it tastes good boiled and with garlic butter), but in Panko's Italy, only the lower class ate tomatoes for 200 years because the upper class thought it was deadly poison.
