She herself has an interesting relationship with spite and has said that that she channels her emotions into her music. The way she describes wrath here, as an anger that is wanting of recompense, is how some of that songwriting must be. She WANTS something to come out of the anger she feels and rather than just be angry she crates an outlet for it where she can scream and spit much as she wants. Its good that she recognizes this too and finds enjoyment and love in the song making process which replaces the usual emptiness that acting out of wrath usually leaves.
