assume all vtubers are equal and disregard nationalities; why is a company of them bothering to do concerts if they are competing with those who don't? now see the reverse of that: why are they competing with streamers (not just western vtubers) if their goals are things like doing concerts and lives, sponsored events, global collaborations, merchandise etc?
idol culture which involves certain standards and is thus the basis of yabs, against a streaming culture which defies and disdains such restrictions. doesn't it seem like an awful idea to compromise the two?
remember the vshojo nazuna incident where gachikois and the other where consistently fighting each other? at the reactions when kanata was involved in some micra tourney vs some of the other holos? the jp dislike for apex? horizontal? holostars in general?
what would it take to realize that maybe there is an intrinsic contradiction in the current product being put out that tends holomems into these bad situations, instead of having them put up two standards to meet maybe only one (the one hololive is unique on) will be better?
tldr; stop hiring, rating and comparing to streamers, hororaibu aidoru company puresu andastando
