>>38507210I'll give you a hindsight of Poland
the biggest anime con had 5k attendants and around 150 people on Leaflit, Yuria, Peari and Dutch Nina, basically nobody widely known here
K-Pop is very popular among young girls and can be considered semi-mainstream, but you still don't get K-Pop dance in public or something like in Russia or NA
Crunchyroll, despite dropping money on Pyrkon, the greatest general-albeit-officially-fantasy convention, to many the only actual convention and most likely the closest you'll get to Anime NYC/Dokomi or stuff like this, basically doesn't exist here and Poland is in the same economic region as Russia and its headquarters is there or in Belarus, according to Crunchyroll at least
Most people either watch anime on Netflix or our own pirate websites, torrents are still unpopular among the masses
Weeb culture basically doesn't exist outside of cons and Facebook groups/Discord servers, only recently have we started to notice singular examples of casual cosplays in public
People literally collect names of those who superchat in polish currency to HoloEN, it's pretty much less than 10
People either have to watch VODs or have jobs which give them both lots of free time/elastic working hours and lots of cash
Polish VTubers basically don't exist, it's a shitfest and there's maybe 3 3views in total, one of which doesn't even live in Poland
Our greatest achievement is grooming Nyaru, a very low 3view, into appealing to Poles and their timezone
It's that bad.
