>>7265814the question we have to ask is always "would it be fun though?" because it's a game after all. Then it's also a question of where to draw the line. If we'd say something like "the first 50 coins give you double the divvies, the next 450 pay out normally and the 1500 after that will pay half, from 2001 coin it's a quarter" and so on we would drastically change strategy planning and market dynamics. Just theorycrafting here, let me clarify once again this is NOT 35P devchama talking, just regular old mikofag
>>7265948this sounds interesting as well, it would create a hard rush for "safe" coins which perform steadily, then again - this would absolutely kill coins like Shion/Ayame overnight so you're basically setting up holos where you get punished to hold them. That would make it neccessary to go from averages again and boom, Haato is once again rigged when her next hiatus inevitably comes for instance. I do like the idea in principle.
>>7265990going for balance changes like this will always require a market reset, and because people are long-invested in their current accounts might lead to some quits. What MIGHT work however is setting up a parallel universe market with different rules to beta-test it live, while keeping current nasfaq working like it is.
Anyways, for anyone poor and new fed up with richfags being rich/too fucking rich, there's changes in the works since a while ago. Nobody knows what exactly will come, but we expect some sorts of money sink. Betting already works manually, I would expect a UI for this at some point in the game kinda like
- A invites B to a bet, and also calls in C as the decider
- Describe the bet
- Input amounts and decision time
- decider has to clear the bet by picking outcome "A wins, A loses, draw"
- The betting parties can "recommend" people they called in for being a fair sport if they called the bet correctly or something, unlike all the social media shit we should also have the option to let them have "bad sport" counters if they called a bet wrong.
I don't know how to deal with the money yet, might just straight up go from person to person or whatever, or dynamically also allow for lose-only bets where you have to superchat to get out of it. Non-actors will be punished as well, just ideacrafting over here.
