>>31445414To be honest I don't really think getting big fans to be a mod is inherently a bad idea in the streamer medium. The problem is that especially for chuubas you have a multitude of opportunistic schizos looking for a chance to get closer emotionally with the chuuba, and there's no real functional way to separate these from fans who are fans simply because they enjoy the content and want to help.
I guess what most chuubas do is get people who they were previously friends with to be mods or things like that. I don't know, it's a bit of a conflicting matter.
I only pondered applying myself because I already tune in to every single stream I can and am almost always paying direct attention to what's happening, but I still feel like having to moderate comments would greatly take away from my enjoyment and, while I do consider myself to be unbiased and able to analyze things in context, I feel like every human being could be subject to a power trip and I wouldn't want that to happen
