Do you really want to work 80hr a week, on 4hr of sleep, with maybe 2 days off a month? Every coworker I had for three years told me not to stay, and I had plenty of examples of how it fucks your body up.
The only real issue is, compared to it, it seems almost nothing is as-good. And like last thread, it just seems like retirement is a fading pipedream. Even then, a lot of construction workers I was around were in their 60s and 70s, either because they still didn't have enough to retire or just didn't know what to do with themselves.
I don't know what the hell to do, but every time I hear Pippa or someone give out encouragement it kind of helps make things not seem so bad. Things will pan out for all of us, probably, just have to be smart with your money and keep going even when life gets hard.
