>>46125933Not entirely true, but that was the case with Part 2. They looked up gore references, and it just so happens that a lot of public gore content is made by the cartels. In a weird way I sort of respect Neil for being into that and not trying to downplay it.
This is surprisingly not unheard of for M-rated games though. Mortal Kombat 11 also had its share of gore references, Half Life 2 had that one burnt corpse based off an actual photo of a burnt mobster's corpse pretty much 1:1, and I'm sure there's tons of other games that are similar. Personally I dont think they need to go that far, I think you can just show the artists films like Return of the Living Dead or George Romero films for references, but thats probably why Im not in game dev and never will be.
