jwu and listened to Chimera; it's ok but nothing to write how about.
Musically it sounds like generic kpop, like that LoL act - the trap beat is basic but is really yhe main stand out to the track and brings to mind the main beat in Billie Eilish's 'You Should See Me In A Crown' (which, going by the design of the track's artwork and the overall throne motif in the video, is no coincidence).
The baseline leaves a lot to be desired and there really is nothing sonically interesting going on with instruments or synths.
Lyrically it's also kind of generic, just the usual vague "I'm a bad bitch don't mess with me" modern pop shit and there's almost nothing distinctively Kiara-ish about the lyrics other than the 'I'll rise again' line (though hearing this just makes you wish you were listening to Kinotori again instead).
The worst thing about it is the video; Kanauru seems to have utterly lost any creativity and the video feels completely phoned in and low-effort, there's nothing interesting going on in the video other then the occasional shit of Kiara's ass, it's just a bunch of random scene changes through a generic dark fantasy dungeon that could have been AI generated and it rehashes the same 'black and white Kiara' thing that DO U already did again for no apparent reason.
Overall, it's passable and much better performed live as just a 'wow she can dance' track than it is as an actual studio release song you'd listen to in your spare time.
Honestly I struggle to see how any straight male could really like it or listen to it (outside of just using it for webms of Kiara's ass); it basically sounds just like the kind of thing twitter people with strange bios and doughy faced effete music reactors would describe as 'slaying' and 'having ate' or something like that.
And I still have no idea wtf a chimera has to do with Kiara thematically at all or even in the song itself.
A strong 5 to a light 6/10
