>Sony Music Labels launched its Virtual YouTuber project "VERSEn" on Monday. K-ON! and 22/7 character designer Yukiko Horiguchi will be involved in the project as an animation director and character designer. Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga creator Aka Akasaka will also be involved.

>The VERSEn project will center on "VTubers with a past" and depict a story of "girls who connect the world." The multimedia project will tell a story alongside the audience of the past, present, and future of the VERSEn world across livestreams, anime, music, illustrations, novels, and manga.
