YouTube was built upon the backs of those who created content because they had a passion for it. A lot of them were shit, yes, but a great amount wanted to make content they enjoyed and were proud of. While we see everything as extremely corporate nowadays, there still exist creators who create what they do out of passion. When you're creating a product solely for the purpose of generating money with zero interest in it, people can tell. When you pour your heart and soul into your content to make something you can be proud of, it will show.
