> MEDIAN OF PEAKS AND TRUE AVERAGE, 2022, PER COMPANYSome comments
1) I can't even begin to understand how high Hololive (the japanese branch) was flying in 2022. They finished the year on FIVE DIGITS, **both** on the average and on the median(!).
There is nothing on the youtube vtuber industry coming even close to that.
2) HoloEN, despite all warts, finished comfortably as the #2 branch with both metrics so high it's more than double the #3 in both sides of the table with over 7k on both
3) VSPO gets #3 for the median but. due to their relatively low ceiling, drop to #6 on the avearge
4) StarsEN, back in 2022 with only the original 4, enjoyed a very productive debut buff and remained as #4 with a median near 3k. On the average side, tho, it was only good enough for #7, trailing Holos, Nijis and the FPS gang
5) NijiJP finished #3 in the average due to their exceptional events but, on the median, they dropped to #6, trailing even NijiEN
One line was added to account for the top 37 channels for NijiJP, to dismiss the habitual "they are only ranked low because of their number of channels".
Even with that allowance they don't come even close to Hololive, neither JP nor EN.
